Overview

The MKV intranet system, developed by DSTRCT Group, was designed to streamline internal operations and enhance communication at MKVelsen Hospital. The challenge was to create a unified, secure platform for managing patient data, department-specific news, ticket resolution, and document organization, all while ensuring smooth collaboration among hospital staff. DSTRCT Group provided a comprehensive solution that addressed these needs through a highly customizable and scalable intranet system, helping MKVelsen hospital boost productivity and communication efficiency across departments.

Solutions

DSTRCT Group’s solution for CSA project focused on automating the cleaning process and creating a comprehensive system for tracking nets and carts in real-time. Key components include:

Authentication & User login

A secure login system was implemented with encrypted credentials, ensuring that only authorized hospital staff have access to sensitive data related to nets and sterilization processes.

Database & Component design

The system was built on a well-structured database that manages all relevant components, such as nets, carts, and their locations. Each cart and net was assigned a unique identifier, and dedicated pages were designed to display the status and availability of both items. QR code scanning was integrated to allow quick updates and tracking of their locations within the hospital.

Cleaning process automation

CSA automates the entire cleaning workflow, including barcode scanning at various stages like the washing machine room, autoclave, and distribution areas. This ensures that all nets are tracked through their cleaning and sterilization cycles, with real-time updates on their status.

Inventory & Distribution management

The system tracks the movement of nets and carts from cleaning to storage and makes them available for reuse in different hospital departments. By scanning each net and cart as they progress through the cleaning stations, CSA maintains an accurate record of their availability and ensures timely distribution.
